Vacancy for Cultural Programs

The Goethe Institute is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany that operates worldwide. We cultivate international cultural cooperation and convey a comprehensive picture of Germany through information about cultural, social and political life.

As of September 1, 2020, the Goethe Institute in Vietnam is looking for a colleague to support the cultural programs in Vietnam. The position is initially limited to one year with the option to extend for another two years.

Your responsibility:

• Preparation, implementation and evaluation of program events that fall into topics of global sustainable development with a cultural focus
• Establishing and maintaining local contacts with people and institutions in Vietnam, particularly in the areas of climate protection, civil society and digital transformation
• Project-related budgeting, monitoring

Your profile:

• Completed university studies and professional experience in social, cultural or media
• Spoken and written Vietnamese at native level, knowledge of English and / or German
• Team orientation, social and intercultural competence
• Remuneration and working conditions correspond to local standards.
