Translator for Digital Frontiers Vietnam

BACKGROUND

Digital Frontiers is a $90 million buy-in mechanism available to USAID Bureaus and Missions from 2017-2024. DAI implements the Digital Frontiers project, which works closely with USAID’s Innovation, Technology, and Research Hub/Technology Division, USAID Missions, the private sector, and international and local development organizations to identify successful and sustainable digital development approaches and scale their impact globally.

Over the past 14 years, The Government of Vietnam (GVN) has passed several laws and announced decrees and national programs to implement e-Government systems at the national and provincial levels. Responding to the GVN’s request, USAID/Vietnam is supporting its e-Government efforts through strengthening capacity. This assistance will help improve the quality of government services to citizens and business, enhance the efficiency and transparency of government operations by the supporting the GVN’s effort in promoting e-government deployment.

OBJECTIVE

The written translator will provide English-to-Vietnamese and Vietnamese-to-English written translation services for the Digital Frontiers project.

TASKS

1.   Written translation service:

• Provide accurate and high-quality written translation services from Vietnamese to English and English to Vietnamese in the specified format. The format for the translation may be in the form of:
• Word documents, Excel documents, PowerPoint presentations, email, google documents
