TOR for consultant to conduct training workshops on Child Rights to Ethnic minority Parents in Lao Cai

Oxfam has been working in Vietnam since 1955, when we made our first humanitarian grant. After several decades of supporting humanitarian responses, we started to focus on development work in the late 1980’s. We work with communities, the government, civil society organisations and other non-government organisations to promote equity, human development and economic well-being through social and economic change. A time for change Oxfam is now internally changing the way we work in more than 90 countries around the world. Vietnam is one of the earlier countries to witness this change. From July 2011, seven Oxfams in Vietnam came together to work as one Oxfam under one management and a joint country strategy. This is all part of our structural and strategic global change within Oxfam that aims for greater impact in our work in helping people living in poverty to fight injustice. Oxfam has a vision where all people in Vietnam are empowered to pursue development opportunities which address all forms of poverty and injustice.
