Vacancy: Temporary junior project assistant – Northern Area Office
Based in Hanoi

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Temporary junior project assistant (6-month contract) to work for our Northern Area Office. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi.

Main Responsibilities: Junior Project Assistant is to support the program staff in administrative, financial, and logistical issues to ensure the quality implementation of School Health and Nutrition project activities, with focusing on the field implementation of project in Hanoi. He/she will support in trainings, workshops, events and project monitoring with local partners. This should be done in close coordination with Line Manager and local partners

Key Competencies:

Essential

  • University degree in education, health, nutrition, social sciences or other relevant field
  • One year experience to work/assist for a health and nutrition program implementation
  • Willing to travel to project sites
  • Good English and Vietnamese written skills.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Experience in translation and interpretation from Vietnamese to English and vice versa
  • Good computer skills

Desirable

  • Ability to work in both team-orientated, consultative manner and independently.
  • Working experience with teachers and students
