RECRUITMENT FOR SPONSORSHIP SERVICE OFFICER

Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects working in 42 countries.

Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 4 provinces: Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa. In 2022, GNI plans to establish new CDP in Ho Chi Minh city. We focus on education, water & sanitation, income generation sectors in 6 different areas of Vietnam.

2. MAIN DUTIES

  • Manage sponsored children of GNI in the wards: Binh Hung Hoa A and Binh Hung Hoa B (~800 children). Manage directly and indirectly sponsored children through local volunteer network.
  • Organize to implement, take responsibility for importing and managing data for the reports of sponsored children in CMS, including: new child (CIF), Annual child letter (ACL), Annual progress report (APR), Drop out, Gift money letter (GML). Be responsible for archiving file of sponsored children at the office as stipulated.
  • Take responsibility to prepare proposal, implement project activities of GNI, including those activities: home visiting, case management, health examination, meal support for sponsored children.  
  • Maintain activities, manage and provide capacity building support for local volunteer team; promote their participation in sponsorship activities of GNI.
  • Establish partnership, guide partners for their coordination in project activities, promote efficiency of activities with support of GNI to sponsored children and community.
  • Develop and prepare annual Plan of Action (POA).
  • Report works results periodically and/or requested by managing levels; counsel with managers and develop orientation to solve problems if arising or needing adjustment.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by managerial levels;

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education: Graduate in the fields of social work, education and sociology.

Work experience

  • Minimum 1 year of similar role;
  • Knowledge about eco-social situation in working area
  • Knowledge about Law, Child right policy and current child protection work, etc.

Skills

  • English communication level;
  • Good communication and presentation skill;
  • Proficient in office computer skills and software;
  • Plan-making and presentation skill

Attitude

  • Sociable, responsive, committed working with GNI at least 02 years
  • Enthusiastic in work;
  • Friendly, honest and hard-working;
  • Eager to learn
