Background on the Project: The UNIDO – MPI project “SME Cluster Development” aims at assisting the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to implement SME cluster development and enterprise upgrading in three selected sectors, including export oriented ones, with a view to facilitate capacity building in industry associations as cluster development agents and for institutional twinning with Italian industry associations, and enterprise upgrading for selected enterprises in each cluster for business matching with Italian businesses.

Job purpose: To provide technical support on planning, monitoring and facilitating of all health related activities with a focus on child nutrition program for the health master project which is implemented at the program units of Plan in Vietnam.
Main responsibilities: - Responsible for designing the nutrition program’s activities, monitoring formats, report consolidating to ensure the project progress. - Annual review the Detailed Implementation Planning (DIP) for nutrition program.
The main objective of the work is to inform current policy debates in Viet Nam on the role that social service delivery plays in promoting human development in contexts of socioeconomic transformation, such as the one that Viet Nam is currently undergoing.
In addition, the Consultant is expected to contribute to the promotion of the human development paradigm and human development analysis in Viet Nam. - Manage the preparation of the 2010 Viet Nam National Human Development Report. - Coordinate all inputs necessary for the completion of the NHDR by 2010. - Lead the process of drafting the 2010 Viet Nam National Human Development Report.
