Social Media Executive Consultant

BACKGROUND

PATH has been awarded the Healthy Markets project from 2014 to 2019 from USAID. The overall goal of this project is to grow a viable commercial market for HIV-related goods and services that are capable of meeting the needs of populations facing the greatest risks of HIV. In order to achieve this overall goal, PATH and its partners will focus on the following three objectives:

1.    Increase private sector and local investment in the market for condoms and other HIV-related goods and services
2.    Increase demand for condoms and other HIV-related goods and services among key populations facing the greatest risks
3.    Increase private sector supply of condoms and other HIV-related goods and services among key populations facing the greatest risks

To support the marketing and communication component, PATH/Healthy Markets is looking for an Social Media Executive Consultant based in Hanoi, to conduct the following tasks:

  • Create and manage online content for various platforms, including the website, Facebook and YouTube, and manage engagement/responses from the community.
  • Create and manage a regular publishing schedule
  • Promote content through social media and online advertising (Facebook, SEO and Google ads)
  • Design, develop and manage online promotions and social media ad. campaigns
  • Analyze audiences’ reach/engagement/reaction to readjust strategy and content as needed (audience growth, audience profile, audience engagement, content reach etc.)
  • Assist with and manage the general day-to-day administrative tasks of all social media campaigns

Required knowledge and skills:

  • Proven experience of performing social media activities
  • One or two years’ experience with digital/social media marketing and communications
  • Demonstrable experience developing creative social media content and effectively managing social media channels and content schedules
  • Experience creating and managing social media advertisements (Facebook, Google etc.)
  • Knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword search, Google Analytics and Google Social Search
  • Knowledge of HIV and LGBT issues is preferred but not a must 
  • Fluent in Vietnamese with a professional level of English (reading and writing)
