The Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is looking for talented and energetic individuals to fulfil several (LE6) positions across the Development, Economic and Political sections.

• LE6 Senior Aid Policy and Program Manager – Strategic Aid
• LE6 Senior Trade Policy Analyst
• LE6 Senior Aid Policy and Program Manager - Mekong
• LE6 Senior Program Manager - Partnerships for Infrastructure
• LE6 Senior Program Manager - COVID-19 vaccines and health security

Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the LE6 positions work under limited direction of the First/ Second Secretary, are responsible for providing technical advice and policy analysis on a range of broader development issues, and are expected to monitor and manage assigned innovative and complex initiatives. The successful candidates should have demonstrated experience managing development sector and understanding of development issues in Vietnam, which cover a range of sectors and cross cutting issues preferably in health security, infrastructure development, water or climate resilience, trade policy and business.

The successful candidates should have experience in program management, financial management, contract management, and monitoring and evaluation, managing risk and public diplomacy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Vietnamese languages including high level interpretation and translation are essential.

The successful applicants will be offered an initial contract for a 12-month period with an option to renew the contract for another 12 months. The Embassy will consider flexible work arrangements. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 52,031,755 to VND 58,562,199, depending on skills and experience.
