Information Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (AGROINFO) is an independent Center under the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural development (IPSARD). Have been established in 2006, AGROINFO visions itself and has performed to become the bridge between analysis and practice, and reliable address to provide qualified and timely development consultancy, training services, policy dialogues, analytical information and data on agriculture markets and policies on agribusiness for a wide range of public and private stakeholders in rural and agricultural sector. Nowadays, one of the main important duties of AGROINFO is to be the hub to link and develop a network of enterprises in order to support for the investment encouragement process to agricultural and rural development.

AGROINFO is recruiting the qualified researchers in the following fields: (i) Policy and strategy analysis on inter-regional, sectorial and inter-sectorial policies of agriculture, forestry and fishery; (ii) Policy analysis on international trade and integration policies (v) Research on rural institution and social development.

Requirements

  • Master Degree or higher degrees in Economics; Development Economics; Agricultural Economics; Public Policy; Application Statistics; Econometrics; Rural Sociology or other related fields.
  • Excellent writing skills in both Vietnamese and English
  • Ability to work under high pressureand meet tight dealines
  • Experience in quantitative analysis and familiar with at least one data analysis software (such as EXCEL, STATA, SPSS, etc)
  • Good command of English: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 500
  • Excellent skills in information collection and consolidation
  • Ability to work independently and in groups, Willingness to travel to project sites.
  • We prefer candidates who have working experience and good knowledge in agricultural policy analysis
