At present, providing information on food demand, behavior, and habit of consumers for small and medium food enterprises in agriculture and rural sector is an urgent activity. In order to catch up the information, it is necessary to organize two surveys in the North and South for two objects: (i) food consumers and (ii) salesclerks in large food supermarkets. The project “Study of policy recommendations to support small and medium enterprises in agriculture sector” in the phase 2 and 3 "sponsored by AECID and implemented Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development has assisted in implementing Survey on food demand in the North and the South of Vietnam.
