Project Manager; Project Coordinator

WWF is one of the world's largest and most respected independent conservation organizations, with almost 5 million supporters and a global network active in over 100 countries. WWF's mission is to stop the degradation of the earth's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature, by conserving the world's biological diversity, ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable, and promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.
The Greater Mekong region is one of the biologically richest places on the planet; its varied natural resources support the livelihoods and well-being of millions of people in mainland Southeast Asia. WWF-Greater Mekong – on the ground in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam – is working to conserve the region’s biodiversity and build a secure and sustainable future for people and wildlife.
WWF is seeking to recruit well-qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions for “Strengthening Resilience in Natural Resources’ Dependent Communities” Project.

1.Project Manager, WWF-Greater Mekong (based in Thailand, Lao PDR, or Vietnam)

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, management and implementation of the project and managing project resources effectively and efficiently so as to achieve the project objectives and outcomes within the set timescale and available budget. The Project Manager is also responsible for interfacing with and reporting to the World Bank, which is supporting the project. Because the project is being implemented in both Lao PDR and Vietnam, the Project Manager will play a critical role in supporting Project Coordinators and other project staff in each country. Likewise, the Project Manager will need to encourage synergies across the two countries and synthesize lessons learned in each.
