PSI currently seeks a talented and motivated Project Coordinator to work full-time with our dynamic, results-oriented team in Hanoi:

Job Title: PROJECT COORDINATOR

Job summary: The Project Coordinator will participate in and contribute to an innovative project using youth-powered design to reduce unintended pregnancy among girls and young women in Vietnam. Beside project management and execution activities, the Project Coordinator is expected to interact, facilitate and maintain relationship with PSI’s beneficiaries and broad range of partners including development actors, governments, private sector, research institution and media

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ensuring quality data from the activity level feeds into program management and donor reports in accordance with PSI policies, best practice and donor requirements.
  • Facilitate registration/approval of the project with the government including development, negotiation and finalization of required project approval documents; follow-up with and response to request from authorized government agencies;
  • Contribute to work plan development and monitoring; review and track performance through continuous project quality improvements.
  • Plan, execute, and contribute to the design process of the project. This includes oversee of and participation in relevant qualitative and operational research activities;
  • Identify, interact, maintain relationship with and regularly collect feedback from PSI’s beneficiaries to inform program decisions;
  • Ensure responsiveness to donors and stakeholders (including government partner) on programmatic matters;
  • Document project learnings; review and track project budget regularly;
  • Produce periodic reports of the project and submit timely.

Selection criteria:

  • Have a relevant education at academic level, preferably in public health, population studies, social sciences, or related field;
  • Have good communication skills and fluent command of Vietnamese and English - both in writing and speaking;
  • Proven experience of program development and management; Demonstrated ability to follow deadlines and deliver under stressful situation without compromising quality;
  • Experience on adolescents and youth focused programs and background in qualitative data collection/interviewing - is a plus;
  • Are willing and able to travel to remote areas of Vietnam, and potentially within the SE Asia region.

Annual gross salary up to $16,900 plus other benefits & fringes
