REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

The Government of Vietnam receives the funding from World Bank for Integrated Climate Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Project (P153544). The Management
Unit of Sub-Project 6 (MPI-PMU) “Mekong Delta Comprehensive Infrastructure Development Scheme for Climate Change Adaptation and Socio-Economic Development” under Component 1 of the Project is looking for the Project Coordinator of Sub-Project 6 (a national consultant).

Main tasks of the consultancy services (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”) include:

• Develop quarterly and yearly work plans for Sub-Project 6; ensuring the consistancy among work plans, financial plans and procurement plans, etc.;
• Report the Sub-Project progress in meetings;
• Monitor and manage the mobilization of important inputs of the Sub-Project, coordinate the activities of consultants, experts and related agencies and organizations during the Sub-Project implementation; supervise individual consultants and quality of all the Sub- Project outputs;
• Organize meetings and workshops between MPI-PMU and concerned stakeholders; maintain the collaboration between MPI-PMU and PMU of other projects and concerned stakeholders;
• Other tasks assigned by MPI-PMU.

Total man-months estimated: 13 months.

MPI-PMU invites all eligible consultants to submit expressions of interest for the Services. Interested consultants should provide information to justify their suitability. ICS (Individual Consultant Selection) method under Guidelines on selection and employment of consultants under IBRD loans and IDA credits and grants by World Bank borrowers, issued in 1/2011, revised in 7/2014.
