UNDP Viet Nam is seeking an International Expert to support MOIT develop Green Growth Action Plan by focusing on Chemical Fertilizer, Steel and Energy sub-sector target setting for Project: “Strengthening Capacity on Climate Change Initiatives in the Industry and Trade sectors” (CCIT)

The overall objective is to provide technical and evidence based support to MOIT in developing the MOIT Green Growth Action Plan, so that the VGGS can be implemented within MOIT during 2014-2020. A key item of the MOIT’s Green Growth Action Plan will be specific GHG reduction targets for the sectors and industries under MOIT’s mandate.

Towards Transparency is looking for a talented and experienced Program Officer to lead efforts on monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) and provide critical support for the effective implementation of the TI Vietnam Programme’s activities, in particular on citizen engagement and public sector advocacy. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, versatile and diligent young professional to be involved with a broad variety of TI/TT’s work. The position offers exciting opportunities for learning and development and stakeholder engagement, including in the international context. This position will support efforts in particular under Components B and C of the TI Vietnam programme, 2013-2015 period.

Center for Environment and Community Research (CECR) is a local NGO in Ha Noi. CECR’s envisions the long-term protection, restoration and management of all aquatic resources in Viet Nam including lakes, ponds, rivers, streams, creeks, marshes, wetlands, floodplains, and other surface and sub-surface hydrological systems from which the citizens of Viet Nam derive a positive benefit.  CECR will partner with others to advocate and advance scientific research, environmental education, stewardship, public policy, and community involvement as primary methods to sustain and improve Viet Nam’s existing aquatic resources for future generations.
