Programme Officer

Center for Creative Initiatives in Health and Population (CCIHP) is a non-governmental organization working primarily in the field of public health and social science (for more information, please see at http://ccihp.org). CCIHP needs to recruit one Programme Officer for the project of screening and early intervention for Children with autism. This project has two components of intervention and research model.

1. Job description

Project management

  • Make plan for the project (annual, quarterly and monthly plan), and make the updated quarterly and annually reports for the project (and donors) in English and Vietnamese;
  • Coordinate with the technical team, partners, and consultants to ensure that the tasks will be completed as schedule and quality;
  • Monitor the progress and the work output of the project assistants and volunteers;
  • Develop and maintain work relationships and exchange information effectively with partners;
  • Detect and resolve the issues arising in course of project implementation and in the relationships with partners;
  • Manage all expenditures based on the budget and the approved plan of the project;
  • Take the field trip: implement and/or monitor activities, and/or work with consultants in the field.

Expertises

  • Participate in design and deploy researches (quality and quantity research) within the framework of the project with the technical team and consultants;
  • Participate in developing the training program, training materials;
  • Make contribution of expertise for the communication activities with the technical team and consultants;
  • Particpate in writing research articles;
  • Participate in seminars and network activities under the professional contents of the project to build a network for yourself and for the organization

2. Requirements

  • Have master degree in public health, special education or social science;
  • Have at least 5-year experience in project management for the non-governmental organization. Priority is given to candidates who have experience in working with the disabled and/or autism children;
  • Have ability to work independently and in group;
  • Have ability to use English well (exchange of expertise, read documents, write reports and facilitate discussion in seminars or trainings).
