RECRUITMENT FOR OFFICER WORKING AT SOCIAL ENTERPRISE

Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Currently Good Neighbors has been operating in 37 countries, supporting approximately 17 million people, including about 10 million children.

Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 3 provinces; Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa. GNI is working in main areas as child sponsorship and education, water and sanitation, income generation, etc. in 6 CDPs and is managing about 10,000 sponsored children.

1. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Country Director, Managing Director, Manager/Officers, Project Managers, Project Officers

External: GNI’s Donors, Partners, Governmental Officials, INGOs, Communities

2. MAIN DUTIES

• Research and update the national policy and legal regulations in the field of agricultural product business.
• Make plan for business periodically to submit to the Management board.
• Build up the policy for selling & buying price of products in the projects.
• Contact with the providing partners and consuming partners to make plan for ordering, distributing products and following the product orders, deal with the
• unexpected problems in the process of distribution.
• Search, evaluate and negotiate with the providing and consuming partners about the providing capacity, consuming capacity, method of delivery and payment.
• Check, analyze and response to the questions, complaints of the providers and consumers, and give suitable solutions for two sides.
• Follow, update the business statistics in each period and then report to the manager periodically or when required.

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Requirements

• Have a bachelor or higher degree in commerce, economics, agriculture, logistics management.

Work experience

• Have at least 2 years of experience doing business in agricultural product business, agriculture production.
• Be knowledgeable in agricultural product business, customer management, provider management.
• Be careful and good at work management and high responsible.

Ability

• Be intermediate in using English (Listening, speaking, reading and writing skills).
• Be good at using Internet and computing skills.
• Korean language is priority.

• Be sociable
• Be able to work individually and work in team
• Willing to support colleagues while working.
