National Health Logistics Consultant

Agence de Médecine Préventive (AMP) is a non-profit organization with headquarters in Paris. AMP’s mission is to promote preventive medicine and public health (see more information at: www.aamp.org).In the flamework of a tender, AMP office in Vietnam is hiring a National Health logistics Consultant to conduct an evaluation in area of blood Cold Chain system equipment.

Incumbent’s Duties

Under the supervision of the AMP and the international expect, the consultant will perform the following duties: he/she will :

- Provide technical advices on the evaluation protocol – data collection tools & planning.
- Conduct data collection with the AMP’s staff.
- Translate relevant documents.
- Participe to briefing & debriefing meetings with AMP & keys partners.
- Participe in data analysis & report writing.

Qualifications

- Academic education: a  university degree or higher/advanced diploma in electrical/refrigeration engineering.
- Good understanding / knowledge of the organization of the health systems and cold chain.
- Completely fluent in English and able to draft the technical documents in english  as well as translation of relevant working documents if necessary.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office

The following will be an asset:

o  Knowledge of the Vietnamese and/or Asian blood cold chain equipments and system.
o  Good understanding / knowledge of the VNN IHBT and RBTCS.

Required Experience

- A minimum of  4 years of experience in the field of Health Cold Chain.
- Experience in working with Ministries of Health (both decision and operational levels).
- Experience in working with International Organizations.

The following would be significant assets :

o Experience in the Blood Cold Chain system & equipments.

Conditions

- The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and training.
- Short term full time contract – 11 days.
- The National Health logistics Consultant is administratively attached to the AMP’s office in Hanoi.
