MANAGER of COOPLUS

Cooplus is a social enterprise which is a foreign invested, limited company. The company is involved in wholesaling and retailing. Cooplus pursues sustainable social and economic growth of the marginalized ethnic minority groups of Vietnam. Cooplus assists improve the livelihood of ethnic minorities in Vietnam. Its mission is to introduces new crops and vegetables, provides trainings and assist in harvest testing, and supports sales channels for ethnic minority farmers. Cooplus’s profit will be re-invested in the local community of Vietnam, particularly in the area of creating new value chains.

Cooplus has a sister NGO called, Good Neighbors International in Vietnam, a non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Currently Good Neighbors International has been operating in 35 countries, supporting approximately 17 million people, including about 10 million children.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer, General Manager

1. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Cooplus: Chief Executive Officer, project management

External: Good Neighbors International (The investor), Retailers

2. MAIN DUTIES

  • Researching and updating the policies and the law on agro-business and distribution business;
  • Develop a business plan to submit to Executives Board;
  • Develop a policy of selling prices for project products;
  • Work with customers to making plan orders, delivery plans and monitor the implementation of orders, solve problems arising in the delivery process. - receive purchase order;
  • Make a marketing plan of company products such as vegetable, meat, water, hand-craft etc.;
  • Examining, analyzing and responding to complaints and grievances of the supply and consumption parties, and finding solutions to the satisfaction of the parties;
  • Monitoring, updating business data periodically reported to the management level periodically or when requested;
  • Work with design partners to develop a brand identity for the company's products.
  • Directly in charge of activities related to advertising, marketing for products.

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education

  • University degree or higher in trade, economics, agriculture, import-export management, economics.

Work experience

  • At least 2 years working experience in agricultural product trading and agricultural product production
  • Knowledge of agribusiness, customer management, supplier management

Others:

  • Between 25 and 40 years old

Skills

  • Ability to work independently and in team work, willing to support colleagues in the work;
  • Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Advanced English is preferred (listening, speaking, reading, writing);
  • Proficient in computer (excel), internet.
  • Be careful, manage work well and have a high sense of responsibility;
  • Knowing Korean is a plus.
