Individual Consultant for Integrated Management Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) Model

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:

  • Vacancy: Individual Consultant for Integrated Management Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) Model
  • Based in: Hanoi

Main Responsibilities:

Consultant will work directly with SC PMU, which is responsible for monitoring consultant activities.

  • Objective 1: Develop the training manual and guidelines for implementing IMAM model suitable with project sites based on national guidelines and current documentation.
  • Objective 2: Conduct two kinds of training course for health staffs and village health worker on IMAM model.
  • Objective 3: Improving capacity of local health staff after 1 month implementing IMAM model via supportive supervision trip and meeting.

Key Competencies:

  • Doctor working in the field of nutrition
  • At least 10-year working experience in maternal and child nutrition
  • Experience in managing health systems
  • Experience in managing and operating a team, especially having good team working experience
  • At least 5-year teaching experience in nutrition
  • Good computer skills
  • Foreign language: English from B level, able to read and understand professsional documents
  • Priority given to those having working experience with programs and projects relating to nutrition/ pediatrics/ obstetrics
