Independent Evaluator for Child – Focused Project (April – June 2012)

Save the Children in Vietnam works to promote every child’s rights to survival, protection, participation and development as set forth in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.  The current programme focuses on the following core sectors: Health and Nutrition; HIV/AIDS prevention; Education; Child protection; Child-focused emergency preparedness and response; Child rights agenda, including Civil society development, Economic opportunities, Child poverty Research, and Advocacy for child-friendly development policy and practice.

Vacancy: Independent Evaluator for Child – focused Project (April – June 2012)

Save the Children needs to hire an Independent Evaluator to do a systematic evaluation to assess the impact of the project activities on HIV infected/affected and migrant children in Ca Mau, Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Ninh as well as the caregivers and local authorities in these areas.

The evaluation should include qualitative and quantitative methods to complete the following tasks:
- Prepare a study plan with objectives and methodology;
- Conduct the data collection in the field;
- Analyze data and write the report (report can be submitted by the end of June 2012)
