Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Currently Good Neighbors has been operating in 30 countries, supporting approximately 16.8 million people, including 9.6 million children.

Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 3 provinces; Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa. GNI is working in main areas such as child sponsorship and education, water and sanitation, income generation, etc. in 9 CDPs and is managing over 9,400 sponsored children.

1. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: Communities

External: Project manager, Project Officers

2. MAIN DUTIES

  • Implementing IG activities in being in charge CDP under GNI strategy;
  • Researching and developing Income generation projects that are suitable with CDP context;
  • Supporting technique and market information and other supports that are acquired for business, producing development to benefited farmers in CDP;
  • Supporting, M&E all activities of Household Economics Development Fund (Microfinance Fund) in CDP
  • Monitoring and evaluating IG sector of CDP.

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education

  • Bachelor degree in public university with relevant fields: Finance, Agriculture.

Skills

  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Good skilled in management
  • English: Intermediate

Work experience

  • At least 1 year relevant working experience in IG and micro finance fund establishment and management.
  • Experience and skills of project management, including planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and partnership;
  • Experience in working independently and with the team;
  • Experience in community development or with NGO

Attitude

  • Commit to work at least 03 years for GNI
