We are looking for committed, result-driven candidate for the position of Freshwater Senior Project Officer cum WfW Project Field Coordinator, based in Ha Noi, Viet Nam.

Major Functions:

The Freshwater Senior Project Officer of Working for Water project will be fully responsible for the implementation of project’s activities in Xuan Son National Park, Phu Tho province. The position will ensure the effective development, rollout, implementation, learning and communicating and reporting of the program. The position, as part of WWF’s Freshwater team and the Work for Water project, will be based in WWF office in Hanoi and liaise closely with relevant departments of MARD, and reporting to the WfW Project Manager and Water Stewardship Manager.

Requirements:

• University degree in environmental science, Natural resources management, Environmental science, technology or biology, sustainability, water conservation or related field, a master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experiences in planning and implementation of GO and NGO’s projects.
• Experiences in working or liaison with GO and NGO bodies (e.g., ministries, protected areas, national parks), and working in multi-stakeholder settings.
• Good knowledge of nature-based solutions theory and application and freshwater conservation.
• Adherence to WWF’s values: Courage, Respect, Integrity, and Collaboration.
• Demonstrates WWF behaviors in ways of working: strive for impact, listen deeply, collaborate openly, and innovate fearlessly.
