We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Vietnamese individual to work as full time Consultant (9 months) with our dynamic team in Hanoi for following position:

Report to: Director of Operations
Job purposes: This position will support Director of Operations in managing finance and accounting operations of the PSI’s office including supervise all the accounting functions, prepare or review account reconciliations and analyses,prepare periodic accounting reports, establish, monitor internal controls and fulfill audit documentation requests

Major duties

- Budget Planning: Prepare and coordinate with managers for budgeting/cash flow estimates on monthly basis
- Review of all Purchase Orders / Canvass Sheet / Contracts.
- Control the system for Sub-awards management on budgets, reports and payments.
- Supervise the accounts payable, disbursement functions including review vouchers and assist with problem resolutions
- Implement the payroll functions (handle monthly payroll, monitor payroll, allowances, tax, and reporting procedure changes, reconcile the payroll to accounting records)
- Prepare or review account reconciliation, accounts receivable, inventory, advances to staff / suppliers.
- Supervise the inventory functions (maintain perpetual inventory records of commodities, monthly CTL Report,coordinate annual warehouse commodity inventories)
- Assist with the annual internal/external audits.
- Prepare monthly reports and schedules (e.g. ensure accounting reports and information from PSI offices and partners are imported in an accurate and timely manner, prepare/reconcile reports to local tax authorities, be responsible for the reporting and payment of local taxes applying to PSI Vietnam, prepare monthly financial reports, ledger in accordance with monthly schedule, prepare burn rates for budgets)
- Supervise and coach the accounting staff

Selection criteria

• Bachelor degree in finance / accounting or other related fields
• At least 2 years working experience in management position
• Proficient English written and verbal communication skills
• Good competency in MS suites
