Field Project Officers (Sponsorship Programme)

At present, Vietnam Country Office has programs in 20 out of 63 provinces in Vietnam.

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:

  • Vacancy: 02 Field Project Officers (Sponsorship Programme)
  • Based in: Lao Cai Office

Main Responsibilities:

Be responsible for managing and ensuring implementation of high quality program of Save the Children and productive partnership at district level in Lao Cai province. In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

Key Competencies:

Essential

  • University degree in social science, development studies, business administration, or a related field
  • Good organization, communication and facilitation skills
  • Experience with government counterparts and community-based programs
  • Computer literacy with strong computer skills in MS Office and other communications applications
  • Good written and oral communication in both Vietnamese and English
  • Willing to travel to the field

Desirable

  • Field-based working experience with ethnic minorities
  • High commitment and adaptability to high pressure
