About Education for Nature - Vietnam
Education for Nature-Vietnam (ENV) was established in 2000 as Vietnam’s first non-governmental organization focused on conservation of nature and the environment. Position title: Field program officer
Location: Hanoi-based but involves frequent travel
Salary grade: Depends upon performance and qualifications. Initial salary is pre-evaluation with staff grade salary awarded based on performance
Main responsibilities:
- Help design and conduct research relating to ongoing investigations and specific wildlife trade cases
- Liaise with partner agencies and organizations
- Manage and document research results and progress regularly
- Provide support and input on wildlife trade-related campaigns carried out by ENV

Requirements
- Vietnamese national, Male preferred
- Research and survey skills required
- Law enforcement experience or training is beneficial
- Strong Vietnamese written language skills
- Fluent English written and verbal skills required
- Excellent communications skills and an ability to communicate and work with government partners
- Capable, dependable, confident, with excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under high pressure and meet deadlines, willingness to travel
