Expert for Organizing a Training Course on Domestic Violence Prevention for Officials of the Farmer's Union

In the framework of the Communication project to promote the implementation of Law on Domestic Violence Prevention sponsored by Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), MoCST and Viet Nam Farmer’s Union are organizing a two-day training course on capacity building to increase ability of integration of communication contents on healthy intra-family relationships and Domestic Violence Prevention (DVP) into regular activities of the VNFU system..

Objective:

This activity is aimed to enhance communication and dissemination of knowledge on healthy intra-family relationships and Law on DVP at community level. It is directed to guiding FU officials at all levels to integrate and propagate the contents on healthy intra-family relationships and prevention of domestic violence in FU’s existing groups, branches and clubs, contributing to bring the Law on Domestic Violence prevention to life.

Consultant’s requirements

- To develop this activity, (01) one expert in Gender / DVP will be recruited to perform the following duties:
- Updating / improving the existing training materials.
- Developing and applying to the trainees pre and post tests on gender/ DVP knowledge /communication skills, to be able to assess the results of the training;
- Lecturing for a two days training course in Ho Chi Minh city
- Reporting the activity and its results.
