General description

The Education and Training Assistant will be responsible for developing education materials and delivering training programs on climate change and disaster risk reduction for young people and other stakeholders in schools, business and communities. The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to facilitate their involvement, and to motivate and support  change in awareness and action of individuals and groups.

Essential requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social sciences or related fields
- Working experience with youths or in NGOs is an advantage
- Good spoken and written English and Vietnamese
- Good computer applications and social networking skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Facebook...)
- Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team and to work independently
- A keen interest in climate change and disaster risk reduction
- Enthusiasm in for interactive training delivery and materials development
- Willingness to learn and share with a range of stakeholders, and work in the community
- Knowledge about graphics, design is an advantage
- Experience in education and training not essential, but is desirable. We seek an individual who has a strong willingness and ability to learn, ability to think outside the box and to identify potential education opportunities
