RECRUITMENT FOR DATA AND SERVICES OFFICERS

Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Currently Good Neighbors has works in 40 countries, supporting approximately 17 million people, including about 10 million children.

Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 4 provinces; Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, Ha Giang and Thanh Hoa. GNI is working in main areas as child sponsorship and education, water and sanitation, income generation, etc. in 7 CDPs and is managing about 10,000 sponsored children.

Location: Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province & Quang Binh district, Ha Giang province

Type of contract: Full time

1. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: Country Director, General Manager, Managers and Team Leaders in Head Office (HO), Officers in HO, PMs in CDPs

External: Communities

2. MAIN DUTIES

• Make Annual Plan of Action (POA)
• Manage activities of Child Management: Home visiting, Case management, Annual Child Letter, Annual Progress Report, New child;
• Be responsible for activities of Sponsorship Service: Health checkup, Annual Gift, Gift money and letter (GML) and other activities to promote basic rights of children;
• Be responsible for the effectiveness of the program during the implementation process: preparation, making proposal, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
• Contact/ work with local partners involved in order to facilitate effective implementation of the program;
• Guide and ensure the partner, the participants to comply with the principles of the GNI during
• implementation process;
• Report regular activities / events/ or upon request to the PIC of activities, Project manager;
• Manage and promote the disbursement progress as planned;
• Do other tasks require by line managers

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education:

• University degree on: Social work, Education, and other related fields.

Work experience:

• At least 1 year of working experience
• NGO working experience is preferable

Skills:

• Ability to work independently and with the team;
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills;
• Good skill in computer use: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email
• Good at English , both verbally and in writing;

Attitude:

• Sociable, responsive, committed working with GNI at least 2 years
• Friendly, honestly and hard working
• Teamwork
