Consultants to Develop E- handbook for Manufacturing SMEs on Guiding Accounting and Tax Declaration

The International Executive Service Corps (www.iesc.org) implements the USAID funded LinkSME project to improve the performance of SMEs and integrate them into lead-firm supply chains.

SMEs are subject to various taxes in Vietnam including corporate income tax (CIT), value added tax (VAT), special sales tax (SST), personal income tax (PIT), custom duties, natural resource tax, property tax, environment protection tax, and export duties.

USAID LinkSME seeks to assist SMEs, the Accounting and Auditing Supervisory Department (AASD) of the Ministry of Finance, and Business Support Organizations (BSO) counterparts in achieving the two outcomes as below:

• BSOs promote the E-handbook on accounting and tax declaration to support and guide their SME members or SME network in the implementation of the accounting and tax declaration laws.
• SMEs use the E-handbook on accounting and tax declaration, increasing compliance with the law.

In support of this effort, USAID LinkSME will engage one national consultant who will work as a team together with IT consultants in the development and testing of the E-handbook. The consultant will have accounting and tax expertise relevant to SMEs.
