Consultants for Data Analysis and Writing Report on HIV Sentinel Surveillance Plus (HSS+)

“Vietnam HIV/AIDS Prevention Project” funded by the World Bank and DFID (VNHPP) is 7- year Project in order to support the key objectives of Government of Vietnam’s National HIV/AIDS strategy. Central Project Management Unit - Ministry of Health invites eligible and qualified candidates to express their interest for 02 local individual consultants to help CPMU on data analysis and writing report on HIV sentinel surveillance plus (HSS+). The consultants shall be responsible for (i) management the data of HSS+ entering into computer, and (ii) data analysis and making report on HSS+ in 2012 (drawing the strengths and weaknesses of the HSS+ reports for 2010 and 2011).

Requirements:
Consultants should:
- Have a bachelor degree;
- The proven capacity to conduct evaluative research with skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods, especially in investigation of the knowledge, attitude and behavior;
- At least 02 years of experience in HIV/AIDS prevention and ability in synthesizing and analyzing data;
- Experience in assessment, program analysis, epidemiological analysis;
- Ability to work in difficult field environments;
- Knowledge of the health system of Vietnam;
- Ability and experience in writing report (in both Vietnamese and English);
- Experience working well with the provinces/cities and the relevant units: VAAC, MOH, international donors are advantages priority.
