Consultants to conduct Mid-term Review of the Project
“Building Capacity and Access for Community Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods”

The Australian Foundation for the Peoples of Asia and the Pacific Limited (AFAP) trading as Action on Poverty (AOP) www.actiononpoverty.org is an independent, secular, fully accredited Australian non-profit organisation. The organisation proudly registered as the first Australian NGO in Vietnam in 1996. AFAP Vietnam is the representative office of Action on Poverty in Hanoi, Vietnam. For over 20 years, AFAP Vietnam has been working closely with local partners to combat poverty and inequality.

AFAP Vietnam with its local partners have initiated a long-term project “Building Capacity and Access for Community Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods” since June 2014 with funding support from the Australian Government’s NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP). The project is now in its third year of operation. The project aims are to build capacity for poor farmers, community-based organisations, cooperatives, and social enterprises in the areas of economic empowerment; and, to improve the access of poor farmers to information, public services, employment opportunities, financial services and markets.

AFAP Vietnam is now calling for highly qualified national consultant teams to submit Expressions of Interests (EOI) to conduct an external Mid-term Review of the project. The project evaluation is expected to be undertaken in February – May 2018 and final report to be finalised by 15 th June 2018. AFAP Vietnam encourages applicants to review the Terms of Reference (TOR) of the project evaluation for more information.

Interested individuals or organisations are invited to submit an EOI proposal outlining their qualifications, evaluation methodology, proposed costs, and other relevant information to AFAP Vietnam at [email protected].
