The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and Vietnam Red Cross are implementing the project “Enhancing the capacities of disaster risk reduction practitioners in Vietnam through the consolidation of best practices and lessons learnt for community based disaster risk management (CBDRM), vulnerability capacity assessment and disaster response mechanisms” funded by European Union humanitarian aid (ECHO).
CARE International in Vietnam is a Non-Governmental Organization representing the CARE International network in Vietnam since 1989. CARE in Vietnam contributes to the global effort on eliminating poverty and hunger, particularly for vulnerable and marginalized groups. The project “Strengthening Capacity for the Implementation of One Health in Vietnam” (SCOH) was funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) via United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Project implemented in partnership with Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and Ministry of Health (MOH) will contribute to the reduction of the threats to public health from avian and pandemic influenza (API) and other emerging infectious diseases (EIDs) through the application of a One Health approach in Viet Nam.

Project: Lancang-Mekong International Shipping Project

Sustainable Rural Development for the Poor Project in Ha Tinh province (SRDP Ha Tinh) funded by International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), covers 10 districts of Huong Son, Huong Khe, Vu Quang, Duc Tho, Nghi Xuan, Can Loc, Loc Ha, Thach Ha, Cam Xuyen and Ky Anh in Ha Tinh province.
