The Project: “Strengthen Capacity for implementing and monitoring Policies on ethnic minorities ” (EMPCD) funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for 2008-2012 to improve capacity for CEMA and Department of Ethnic Minority Affairs (DEMA) of Lai Chau, Quang Nam and Binh Phuoc in formulating, implementing and monitoring policies on ethnic minorities.

UNDP Vietnam is seeking a qualified international consultant who bases in Hanoi to develop a case study documenting the "value chain approach towards women economic empowerment".
The resulting case study will be included in a Global Review Knowledge Product on Gender Mainstreaming within the MDG-F.
The assignment is estimated for 17 days full-time, with 4 day travel to Nghe An province, Viet Nam.
