Towards Transparency (TT) is recruiting consultants for the evaluation of TI/TT’s work in the forestry sector in Vietnam only, particularly on REDD+, in the framework of TI’s regional projects.
This evaluation aims to provide an external assessment of TI/TT’s work on REDD+ in Vietnam under the previous PAC REDD project and current RGFI project. It is expected to assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability of the project activities (based on the Development Assistance Committee- DAC evaluation criteria) and to inform TT of future directions for any interventions in the forestry sector in Vietnam. The project “Strengthening Capacity for the Implementation of One Health in Vietnam” (SCOH) was funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) via United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Project implemented in partnership with Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and Ministry of Health (MOH) will contribute to the reduction of the threats to public health from avian and pandemic influenza (API) and other emerging infectious diseases (EIDs) through the application of a One Health approach in Viet Nam.
