Consultant for Tender Package: " Consultancy to deliver a campaign on saving the Saola"

WWF-Viet Nam would like to invite Consultant who are interested in our tender package: "Consultancy to deliver a campaign on saving the Saola ".

Scope of Work

The consultant is expected to:

• Study the communication guidelines of WWF;
• Study information on the saola and the conservation works that have been done to save the species;
• Study on hunting and snaring issues as well as past stories on saola captures
• Understanding the project's goals and its communications objectives
• Working with WWF-Viet Nam team and the project's partners while developing the works (listed in Annex 1)
• Ready for field trips and interview local communities, researchers and related stakeholders on saola-related topics to develop products for multi channels
• Capable to design pre and post Seagames campaigns, including mass, social media and off-line campaigns,   to raise awareness for different stakeholders  about Saola, aiming at saving biodiversity 
• Work with agencies and different stakeholders to deliver campaigns, measure impacts and report.

Qualifications

The consultant is required to have:

• Obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field or 5 years of experience in communications work;
• Excellent in stories gathering and writing, social content writing
• Strong experience in producing stories packages including stories gathering and writing; social content posts and photography;
• Deep understanding of social media and mass media;
• Capable with campaign designing and executing; 
• Good understanding and background on conservation issues;
• Passionate about communications and conservation;
• Has been worked with WWF is a plus;
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to strict confidentiality;
• Can Do attitude;
• Adheres to WWF’s values, which are: Courage, Respect, Integrity and Collaboration;
