Consultant at PRPP Project - MOLISA

The Project “Support to the implementation of the Resolution 80/NQ-CP on directions of sustainable poverty reduction (2011-2020) and the National Targeted Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction (2012-2016)" (PRPP). The Project is supported by UNDP with cost-sharing from Irish Aid is to provide technical assistance for Ministry of Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and other related agencies at central and local level.

Vietnam used to apply one-dimensional poverty measurement and the procedure for annual poor households survey is guided by Circular 21/2012/TT-BLDTBXH dated 9/5/2012  and Circular 24/2014/TT-BLDTBXH of MOLISA on revising, adding some articles to Circular 21/2012/TT-BLDTBXH dated 9/5/2012. MOLISA issued Decision 756/QD-BLDTBXH on approving a plan for conducting nationwide multidimensional-based poor households survey in 2015, which is specifically guided in Document 4789/LD-TBXH-VPQGGN dated 11/23/2015 on guiding the implementation of nationwide poor households survey in 2015. Up to present, the nationwide survey has been completed and preliminary survey results have been consolidated by 63 provinces. 

Based on the proposal of Poverty Reduction Coordination Office/MOLISA, PRPP project needs to recruit 01 national senior consultancy team (01 team leader, 02 team members and 01 supporter) to support the analysis of poor households survey results, multidimensional-based poverty mapping based on the survey on January 1, 2016; development of methodology and guideline on annual poor households survey for application in the 2016-2020 period..
