Consultant for Project Final Evaluation

Job Opening: Consultant for final evaluation of project, WWF-Greater Mekong

WWF-Greater Mekong, have been running a EC funded project on "Common Access to VPA project in Vietnam” since 2014 until March 2018 in Laos and Vietnam. The project will be ended by end of March 2018, In order to communicate with the all interested partners the out come, lesson learn of the project. The project is planing for the final evaluation of the project. The objective of the final evaluation is to assess the project implementation in terms of the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, and impact to date, sustainability and replicability of the activities that have been undertaken. The evaluation is to provide conclusions and recommendations that will assess strategy improvements, and draw lessons and assess achievements, challenges and limitations.

WWF is looking for a experienced consultant to conduct this evaluation, the evaluation expected to start in Mid of Jan and complete in Mid of Feb 2018.

Work location: Vietnam and Laos with travel required to the project sites.

The Consultants shall have the following minimum qualifications and experience:

• Minimum Master degree (PhD preference) in the field of forestry, environmental science, social science, development practice or related areas
• Proven strong understanding and at least 05 years of experience on FLEGT , and VPA, LD, TLAS, forest governance in Vietnam and Laos or in the region;
• Track-record experience in conducting project evaluations;?
• Having at least 05 years experience working with CSOs/NGOs on community forestry and SMEs;
• Experience in working in Laos and Vietnam will be advantage;
• Track-record experience in working as team leader of a consultancy team;
• Very good skills in report writing;
• Very good command of English (written and speaking).
