Consultant for Designing an Alliance for Water Governance in Mekong Delta

Please be informed that WWF-Vietnam is seeking for consultant for designing an Alliance for Water Governance in Mekong Delta

Objective of the assignment  is to design an Alliance for Water Governance in Mekong Delta. It include the development of:

• A report that maps out the current efforts and remaining gaps of CSOs in water management in Mekong Delta.
• A Chatter that describes the structure of the alliance, its cooperation and coordination mechanism, membership, roles of members etc. This includes the recommendation on the type of alliance: should it be alliance, network or taskforce …
• A 5-year strategy (2016-2020) and a 1-year plan (3rd Quarter 2016 – December 2017) for the alliance.

Expected qualifications of the consultants:

Individual consultants (Vietnamese and International), organisations, institutes and consultancy firms are invited to submit proposal.

The consultants are required to have following requirements:

• Master or PhD Degree
• At least 10 years’ work experience in the fields of water management, hydro power management, river stewardship, climate change and related fields.
• Have good knowledge and expertise about Mekong River
• Have good connection and understanding of CSOs and their involvement in hydropower dams on Mekong River.

• A technical proposal (max 5 pages) describing the approach, methodology and specific activities to be taken for completing the assignment.
• Required support from WWF-Vietnam
• CV(s) of consultant(s)
• Financial proposal.
