Consultancy Services at DID - STEP Project

Created in 1970, Développement international Desjardins (DID) is a Desjardins Group component whose goal is to strengthen the inclusive finance sector and provide populations of developing and emerging countries access to secure, diversified financial services that fit their needs. DID’s mission is to empower disadvantaged populations by providing them access to diversified financial services and helping them build individual and community assets.

The Strengthen the Network of People’s Credit Funds project (STEP) funded by Global Affairs Canada with the goal of supporting the Cooperative Bank of Viet Nam (Co-opBank) and the network of the People's Credit Fund (PCFs) during the process of transformation and modernization started in 2012. The project has ultimate outcome of Increased access to diversified financial services for Vietnamese men and women in rural and agricultural areas targeted by a more integrated and better performing Co-operative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) and People’s Credit Funds (PCFs) network. With two million members located mainly in rural areas, the Co-opBank and PCFs network provide strong leverage to reduce poverty by stimulating access to financial services in rural and agricultural areas.

We are looking fortwonational individual Consultants for below tasks:

  1. National consultant to improve leadership skills as well as raising awareness on the challenges faced by women in their leadership roles. Please find the attached ToR (English and Vietnamese) for more details. 
  2. National consultant to raise awareness on Environment & Social Risks associated to the PCFs’ operations. Please find the attached ToR (English and Vietnamese) for more details.
