Comic Videographer to Produce Videos on Complementary Feeding for Young Children

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:

Vacancy: Comic Videographer to produce videos on complementary feeding for young children

Location: Hanoi

1. Objectives of the consultancy

SC would like to recruit an individual consultant/a group of consultants to develop 3 videos on complementary feeding for children from 7 months to 2 years old with mothers as the main target audience.

The consultant will work closely with SC and Hai Phong DOH to develop 3 videos on preparation of food recipes and cooking of weaning food (2 types) and porridge. (In Vietnamese: Cach che bien bot dac, bot loang va chao)

2. Outputs

Three videos:

  • 3-5 minutes long in Vietnamese with English subtitles and strictly following Save the Children branding guidelines (provided after signing the contract).
  • Follow the age-specific nutrition guidelines issued by MOH and should be creative, attractive and eye-catching, suitable for the target audience.
  • The final products should be in HD (1080p, 16:9, 30fps, stereo).

3. Scope of work and specific tasks

  • The consultant team should consist of 2-3 members.
  • Fully equipped with cameras/camcorders, voice recorders, lightning equipment, etc.
  • Follow Save the Children’s script/guidelines, but the consultants should contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the quality of the video
  • Do a montage and edit the videos to meet the requirements of Save the Children’s branding
  • Use some visual/after effects to make the video more attractive
  • Follow the filming schedule in Hai Phong
  • Submit the videos on time and as per the requirements
  • Professional and attentive
  • Follow Save the Children’s branding, Child Safeguarding and Anti-Harassment Policies

4. Qualifications/background and experience:

The videos require friendly and clear messages; hence, the successful consultants are required to have the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated competency and experience with educational video production.
  • Preferably experience working with INGOs or development sectors.

5. Document for application: The proposal should provide the following information:

  • Technical proposal (no more than 2 pages): Outline and methodology for undertaking such a video broadcast with a clear message, as well as a brief work plan showing the assignment’s important activities and milestones.
  • Financial proposal: Including a detailed quotation for the production of the videos showing all necessary costs.
  • Updated creative portfolio including relevant creative development work and qualifications with at least 03 examples of work (educational/guideline videos) or creative productions designed and produced by the consultant.
