1.An overview of the organization and program

1.1Good Neighbors International organization (GNI)

Good Neighbors International is a non-governmental humanitarian and international organization. GNI's mission is to improve the lives of people - particularly children - through education, community development, health-care, clean water and sanitation and emergency relief programs. GNI was founded in 1991 in Seoul, South Korea, whose main purpose is to bring hope to disadvantage children. At that time, GNI focused on projects such as orphanages, projects for children with disabilities, finding homes for poor widows, and tuberculosis family.

In 2004, GNI started to care of Rwandan refugees through the medical support team and built two schools for unofficial refugee camps. At present, GNI is carrying out the projects in 32 countries, supporting about 16.8 million people which include 9.6 million children. GNI has established fundraising network and America, Korea, Japan, Australia and Switzerland. GNI also builds collaborative relationships with local governments, international intermediate donors, and poor communities; raised awareness of the community through advocacy activities while recruiting and training volunteers and professionals. GNI has been awarded the Millennium Development Goals of 2007 by the United Nations.

1.2Good Neighbors Vietnam

Good Neighbors Vietnam (GNV) is one of the members of GNI, which began operations in Vietnam in June 2005. By June 2014, GNV has implemented the projects in 10 localities, frequently supported around 9,500 children whose difficult situation.

1.3Children’s Day Program

  • Children’s Day Program is hold by GNI in Vietnam for the students in each local project area with the main purpose is to bring them a fun day of playing, exchanging and learning more about their rights, which raise the children and residents’ awareness of children’s rights.
  • Contents for ‘Children’s Day’ include the activities such as Aerobics performance, drawing pictures, musical concert, exhibition, “running for children” competition…

2.‘Child’s right Concert’ Program

‘Child’s right Concert’ Program is one of the spotlight activities in Children’s Day, which includes:

  • The famous artists’ performance: singing, dancing, magic, talk show…
  • Communication of the project activities: presentation on child protection activities of GNI and GNV.

3.Task requirements for partners

  • Making the contents of the ‘Child’s right Concert’ as required by GNV
  • Preparing and organizing the program

4.Experience requirements for partners

  • Being an experienced event company holding activities for children
  • Having experiences in holding events for NGOs.
