Assistant Project Coordinator

Position: Assistant Project Coordinator (Vietnamese National)
Reports to: Director for Vietnam Programme
Duty Station: Operations Center in Hanoi City
Project Classification: Social Work Education Program (SWEP) in Vietnam

Responsibilities:   
1. Assist the Director for Vietnam Programme manage the SWEP-Vietnam and supervise the project staff in Vietnam.
2. Represent CFSI in various meetings with governmental and non-governmental organizations dealing with training and education of social workers, and regularly liaise with concerned officer/personnel of partner organizations, upon instruction of or in the absence of the Director.
3. Assist the Director to coordinate and supervise the development  and implementation of project activities to enable targeted social work academes and faculty members, managers  of social protection centers and social work centers, and social workers and collaborators implementing community based services  to enhance their capacities as providers of social work training and education, and providers of centerbased and community  based social services to  marginalized, vulnerably, and disadvantaged sector respectively.
4. Participate and take a proactive role in regular consultation meetings with MOLISA and other partner organizations officers/staff, upon instruction of or in the absence of the Director.
5. Participate in regular project planning, review, and evaluation exercises on at least a quarterly basis.
6. Participate in regular (at least once a month) project staff meetings.
7. Assist the Director to prepare and submit in a timely manner monthly, quarterly, annual and other required reports.
8. Contribute to production of project monitoring reports and other forms of project documentations.
9. Perform specific administrative tasks, as per instruction of the Director, required in the provision of project services in line with CFSI’s administrative and financial policies and procedures.
10. Perform other pertinent duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Preferably  possess a Master’s degree in social work or related field
2. Minimum  three years experience in a similar capacity
3. Minimum three years experience in training and teaching social work  or related field
4. Minimun three years experience in managing training programmes
5. Knowledgeable about social work practice, social work education and training in VietNam
6. Proactive approach to responsibilities  and problem solving
7. Excellent interpersonal skills
8. Working knowledge and use of the English language both  verbally and in writing
9. Proficiency with personal computer and appropriate software
10. Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-cultural setting.
