Since 1982, Orbis has been a pioneer in global eye health, and has worked in 92 countries.  Orbis story began with our Flying Eye Hospital, a fully-equipped mobile teaching hospital. We have long-term programs in countries including Bangladesh, China, Ethiopia, India, South Africa, Vietnam and Zambia – with additional programs in parts of Latin America and the Caribbean.

To support the growth of our program portfolio in Vietnam, we are looking for high qualified, dynamic and ambitious candidates to fill in the position of Advocacy Specialist of Orbis in Vietnam

The incumbent will be responsible for advocating Orbis’s priority issues for eye health changes and other relevant agendas, including formulation action plans for specific initiatives, coordinate efforts to influence and engage policy makers and decision makers, carry out research of relevant eye health policy, produce advocacy and publicity materials, carry out media engagement, etc.  S/he will support the Country Director in developing strategic partnerships leading to joint actions in advocacy area.
