02 National Consultants to Conduct the Review of the Activity “Engaging Men and Boys in Gender Equality and Prevention of Violence Against Women”

Our activities focus on the expansion and enhancement of women’s voice, leadership and participation; capacity development for state management agencies on mainstreaming gender on laws and policies; strengthening gender in climate change; elimination of violence against women; and empowerment of women in economic aspects.

Thus, UN Women Vietnam is recruiting 2 positions: the team leader ( 1 consultant) will work with team member to deliver consultancy tasks, and 1 consultant will work under the immediate supervision of UN Women Programme Officer, and will report to UN Women Country Representative in Viet Nam.

Review will be conducted from 20 September 2012 to 30 October 2012 with an estimated duration of 23 working days.

QUALIFICATIONS:

For team leader:

- Master’s degree in social sciences or related fields.
- Have extensive experience (more than 7 years) in designing and conducting evaluation research.
- Experience on gender, gender equality, gender based violence, community communication, community based intervention is preferred.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, intercultural skills and ability to lead and coordinate a team of researchers.

For team member
- Master’s degree in social sciences or related fields.
- Have extensive experience (more than 3 years) in designing and conducting evaluation research.
- Experience on gender, gender equality, gender based violence, community communication, community based intervention is preferred.
