Climate Change Working Group Training course on “Community Resilience and Sustainable livelihoods with with Climate Change”

Strengthening the capacity of CCWG’s members on climate change response is the strategic focus of the network to enable them to deliver effective program implementation at both national and community levels. While many CCWG member organizations are implementing climate change response as core activities, the internal capacity building needs assessment has identified some of the key capacity gaps that prevent them from working effectively. One of the prominent capacity gaps for CCWG members is the updated knowledge and practical experience in supporting the community to increase resilience and develop adaptive and sustainable livelihood in responding to climate change.

With this purpose, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Vietnam and CCWG are organizing training for the members and partners of the network to strengthen capacities on climate change response with the focus on implementing community resilience and sustainable livelihood with main goals as follows:

To provide an overview of knowledge on updated and innovative approaches to increase community resilience and create a sustainable livelihood.

To improve the capacity of participants in research, design, planning, and implementation of agriculture, Forestry, and Land use, Nature-based Solutions initiatives/project in their local contexts.

To share knowledge and practical experience from trainers and peer learning among the participant.
