The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) is supported by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), generates science-based knowledge about the complex role that trees play in agricultural landscapes and uses its research to ensure that policies and practices benefit the poor and the environment.

To meet the increasing work demand in the field of climate change, ICRAF Vietnam would like to set up a volunteer program. The objective of the program is to allow young and enthusiastic students to learn and experience more about the INGO working environment,
poverty reduction, environment protection, climate changes etc. The volunteer will facilitate in providing regular support on practical and logistical arrangements for national and international ICRAF's workshops and training. You may be also required to provide translation and interpretation works. ICRAF will offer the volunteer an allowance based on the time working at the office when required
The first event will be the International Workshop on Reduce Emission by avoiding Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) scheduled for 11-13 November, 2009 at Hilton Opera Hotel, Hanoi.

You should be:
- A native Vietnamese, (student is in last school year of Foreign Trade University or University of foreign language study is preferable);
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and works well in a team;
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of computer programs including: MS Windows, MS Office, Email and Internet.
