Vietnam, French Embassy Hold Conference on Water Resources

Vietnam’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the French Embassy organized a seminar on water resources management project in Hanoi Oct. 20. The event drew participation of Vietnamese and French leading experts and environmentalists, the Tai Nguyen & Moi Truong newspaper reported Thursday. The project, which aims to support management of water resources in the Southeast Asia country, will be piloted in Dong Nai River valley, the paper said. The Southeast Asian country is facing with serious river pollutions, especially the northern river of To Lich with over 150,000 cubic meters of wastewater received per day and the southern river of Thi Vai with nearly 105,600 cubic meters per month.
