Department of Rural Institution is an research unit under the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development (IPSARD). Our function is to do research and propose policies for rural institutions development to the Government & Ministry of Agriculture and rural development ; analyze and assess the impacts of the policies on rural institutions’ development. They also have the function of supporting, advising and providing services related to developing forms for rural and ariculture enterprises, cooperatives, farms, households, etc. They have been executed many researches and offered advice for policies formulation to support the development of rural institutions.
The upcoming time, following the innovation trend of autonomy that IPSARD is leading, DRI has been growing and continuing building capacity of qualified researcher team to meet the reuquirements of policy research and advice for both Government and such clients as enterprises, cooperatives, households. In 2009, under the project “Study on policy recommendations to support for development of small and medium enterprises in agricultural sector and rural areas – phase II + III ” funded by Spanish International Cooperation Agency (AECID) which DRI is implementing, DRI is looking for experienced and qualified Vietnamese candidates for the  2 following positions:
1) 01 researcher for legal framework and policy for enterprises development in agriculture and rural sector
a) Job description:
- Collect information from different sources related to legal and policy system for development of types of enterprises in Vietnam recently.
- Synthetize internation experience in building legal frame and policy for attracting investment and developing enterprises in agriculture and rural sector.
- Work with departments of related ministries, sector, researchers on policy goals, policy making progress, requirements and prospects  for legal frames and policies for attracting investment and developing enterprises in agriculture and rural sector.
- Systematize research, analysis, assessment results on legal frame and policies for investment attract and development for enterprises in agriculture and rural sector .
- Participate some researches related to analyzing legal frame and policy for attracting investment and developing enterprises in agriculture and rural sector.
b) Requirements:
- Master degree and above (oversea study is an advantage) in Business administration, Agriculture Ecnomic rural development, Economic Law
- Excellence in at least one foreign language (English or French)
- At least 2 year experience in relevant field.
- Ability to work as team leader or in group.

2) 01  researcher for farms and afforestration yards and joint stock companies in agriculture and forestry sector.
a) Job description:
- Collect information from researches of units within and outside MARD about the situation of equitization of enterprises in agriculture and forestry sector.
- Work with management units of MARD in agriculture and forestry to build up database for agriculture and forestry and policies, grogrammes to support the development of agriculture and forestry.
- Participate some researches on fields related to agriculture and forestry and equitization progress of state-owned enterprises in agriculture and rural sector.
b) Requirements:
- Master degree and above (oversea study is an advantage) in Business administration, Agriculture Ecnomy, Forestry economy.
- Excellence in at least one foreign language (English or French)
- At least 2 year experience in relevant field.
- Willingness for field trips as required
- Ability to work as team leader or in group.
