Regional Finance Officer

With projects and offices in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, WWF Greater Mekong Programme Office is working to conserve 600,000 km2 of mainland Asia's most biologically diverse, economically significant and threatened forests and rivers, which are found in the Mekong Region and home to more than 300 million people in Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.

WWF Greater Mekong Programme Office (GMPO) is seeking to recruit a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Regional Finance Officer, based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The Regional Finance Officer is responsible for the full spectrum of the accounting process of WWF GMPO including the consolidation from all country offices and at the regional itself. He/she is also responsible for the quarterly consolidation reports to WWF International and financial report to donors for regional projects. He/she assists the Regional Finance Director of WWF GMPO ensuring the compliance of policy and procedures from WWF Greater Mekong, WWF International and donors.

Key requirements are:
- University degree in finance, accounting, business management, professional finance and/or accounting qualification is preferable;
- 3 years of working experience in similar role for international organisations;
- Thorough understanding of international and local finance and accounting systems;
- Experience in the development, management and monitoring of financial systems;
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment and working under pressure of deadline.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and native language;
- Proficiency in MS Office and functional software.

Salary range: US$ 7,577 – US$ 10,627 per year (gross)
