Project Assistant on Child Protection

Save the Children in Vietnam (SC) works to promote every child’s rights to survival, protection, participation and development as set forth in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The current
programmed focuses on the following core sectors: Health and Nutrition; HIV/AIDS prevention; Care and support; Education; Child protection; Child-focused emergency preparedness and response; Child
rights agenda, including Civil society development, Economic opportunities, Child poverty Research, and Advocacy for child-friendly development policy and practice.
They are looking for a qualified Vietnamese national for the position of project assistant on Child Protection, based in Ho Chi Minh city.

Job Purpose: To provide general administrative and programme support to Child Protection project in the South of Vietnam and the programme as a whole to ensure the quality implementation of programme activities.

Key Competencies:
- University degree in social sciences or relevant field
- At least 2 years experience with project administration.
- Basic knowledge of child rights, child protection
- Willingness to take on new challenges, to learn and share experiences with colleagues, partners, and supervisors
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal, communicational and organizational skills
- Sound English language skills
- Good computing skills (word processing, spread sheets, email).
